Ahh Mike, what a guy. Always out talking to folk before and after the shows, chatting away with his fans over the internet...Something you just don't get with other professional musicians. Not only did his fans appreciate him, he appreciated his fans too. He is missed amongst all of us.

A year without you i can't believe it's been that long...seems like only a short while since i took that awful phone call from Sweden...i miss you but sometimes i watch the kids and know you're here...we always joked your daughter was like your female clone..well she's so much like you now even other people have noticed...i'll always have that i suppose but i wish you could see it also...I've done my best to see everything carried on like you wanted it...the boys are still metal heads..lol...and Georgie is smart and beautiful and you'd be proud of all 3 of them...i hope you are ok and happy wherever you are...our love from us is there for you always...xxxx

Well Mike another year has past since i carried you at your funeral and i still havn't forgotten how honoured i was to be asked to do so we all still miss you and think about you all the time, the guys are carrying on doing what you all wanted to do and i think they will be saying something at their gig tonight wishing you were still playing with them having said that Joel has been an excellent choice to replace what they have sadly lost R.I.P.MIKE ALEXANDER Gone but never ever forgotten.\M/ \M/ keep on rocking mate.

A whole year has passed and even though it has gone quickly, it still feels like forever ago when I found out. It was strange not seeing you with Ol, Ben and Matt at Wacken but I always knew you were there in all of us. It doesn't get any easier and it probably never will but knowing you're up there with Pete and Ronnie makes it a little less sadder. We miss you always and everytime i hear your band I'll raise my glass. Rest In Peace Mike.

A year on... a whole year. It seems like an eternity to me, this has been the longest, hardest and emptiest year of my life. I still remember that day as if it was yesterday and as much as I wanted it to, it hasn't gotten any easier. I still miss you like hell Mike, and I always will - WE always will. Evile have impacted on my life so much since 2008 when i first heard them. they also influence my band AV2 and with mikes passing last year which hit me and my brother hard, we decided to write a song as a tribute to mike and the rest of evile. If anyone reads this comment please go to the bloodstock website sign up and vote 5 stars for a song called 'On the shoulders of gods, mike alexander tribute' and help us spread our tribute to the masses of bloodstock 2011. I had the incredible honor of interviewing you and Mike in London last year in august. You probably don't remember me, I was the Belgian guy from Mindview. Anyway, my magazine will publish an in memorian featuring Mike next week of the week after that, so I thought you might be interested in that. And off course I hereby want to make my condolences to both the band and the Alexander family. The interview I mentioned was a very pleasant experience for me.

i'm 25 years old and i lost my brother nearly 12 months ago it still hurts so i can relate to you guys in that way but losing a member of one of the best fucking bands i've heard since 80's metallica is nearly as bad. i hope they thrash in the afterlife cos mike will be tearing it up with cliff burton and dimebag and the long list of other legends of metal that have left us. METAL TILL WE DIE!

I know this was a while ago but it probably still hurts and it will. Mike was an amazing bassist, and from meeting him once before, he was also one hell of a nice guy. RIP Mike, you are never to be forgotten.

He was certainly a great artist eventhough his work was not appreaciated the way is should be.

I've sadly just found out, on youtube reading comments from the video thrasher, that Mike is no more among us. Evile has brought back that heavy thrashing feeling that the 80s left us such long time ago. I wanna declare how thankful I am to Mike for contributing to all this. RIP.
